Abstract

The article presents the valences of the concept of freedom understood as a destiny assumed for those who tried to rebuild the image of a lost homeland. It is about memory and the relativity of things, about accommodation, resignation and trust in change. In this sense, freedom plays an essential role in the reconstruction of an identity literature. Because of this, the exile lives a drama and the impossibility of being nothing but the holder of a passport with a predetermined destiny.
